TFE Hotels and TOGA Group announce 102 room boutique hotel and a new lifestyle precinct on the historic Wunderlich Ltd factory site in Redfern

Hot from the heels of having The Calile, Brisbane named as the twelfth best in hotel in the world, TFE Hotels have announced the coming of The Eve Hotel, Sydney, a design-led boutique hotel and a new lifestyle precinct encompassing boutique shopping, design-led event spaces and al-fresco dining.

Visually stunning precints

TFE Hotels are renowned for creating lifestyle precincts that blur the lines between work and pleasure. With an emphasis on creating immersive spaces with an eclectic mix of art, culture and style, they are optimally designed as guest centric with top service delivery, and relaxed hospitality. The Eve promises much the same with a 102 keys hotel surrounded by tastefully designed precinct in the inner Sydney suburbs.

Architecturally designed with a local feel

Designed by local architecture and landscaping talents Adam Haddow and Daniel Baffsky respectively, The Eve will feature a landscaped roof top deck, swimming pool, bar and restaurant with a fully operable glass roof and walls designed by leading Australian interior architect George Levissianis, also based in Surry Hills. This will be complemented by  beautifully designed laneways and lush greenery.

One of the unique features of this hotel will be found in the hand-crafted details of the glazed faience, and bespoke lighting by Sydney designer, Henry Wilson in the Australiana palette. Like The Eve, Wunderlich Lane’s retail shopfronts will provide an opportunity for moments of discovery. The al-fresco dining areas which hem the various walkways – including the precinct’s focal point, the ‘Oculus’, an architectural void set above the outdoor dining terrace of the flagship restaurant space are set to create a bustling atmosphere, just 4km from the city centre.

Wunderlich Lane

The precinct name pays homage to the original Wunderlich Ltd factory, whose outputs had a wide-ranging impact on Sydney’s heritage architecture, such as the grand facades of the Government Bank in Martin Place and pressed metal ceilings which can still be found in Sydney’s terrace homes to this day.

The Eve opens it’s doors in September 2024
