Adina Perth targets business and events market with 2026 refurbishment

  • April 15, 2026

Adina Perth is set to undergo a major multi-million-dollar rolling refurbishment with TFE Hotels repositioning the Mounts Bay Road property around a more contemporary, design-led guest experience. The staged project will refresh both guestrooms and public areas, with the hotel remaining operational throughout the works.

For business travellers, the investment is less about cosmetic change and more about sharpening the hotel’s relevance in one of Perth’s most commercially important precincts. Adina Perth sits directly opposite the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre and close to the St Georges Terrace office corridor, giving it a natural advantage for conference delegates, corporate travellers and longer-stay guests needing both location and flexibility.

The redesign, led by Melbourne-based Studio del Castillo, takes its cues from Perth and the wider Western Australian landscape. TFE Hotels said the new interiors draw on references including opal tones, the Swan River and Elizabeth Quay, with softer textures, stone finishes, timber detailing and warmer tonal layering intended to create a stronger sense of place across the lobby and guestrooms.

That design direction also aligns neatly with the needs of today’s business traveller, where public spaces increasingly need to work as informal meeting zones as much as arrival areas. Guestrooms will continue to lean into Adina’s apartment-style proposition, with layouts designed for longer stays and the practical advantages of kitchens, laundries, living space and dedicated work areas.
