The Reef House Adults Retreat in Palm Cove, Queensland have appointed sleep scientist Sabine Christelli as the Director of Sleep and Rejuvenation to elevate the art of a well deserved sleep
After introducing the free Sleep Easy program as part of its more than 28 Signature Inclusions last year, The Reef House launched a Sleep Retreat in February to further help their guests find the antidote for a restless night and is now offering a dedicated Sleep and Rejuvenation guest experience for all stays.
Ms Christelli said the program covered light therapy, sleeping posture, the sleep science of temperature, chronotypes, sleep architecture, food and drink timing, and light exposure. “There is much in the way that we self-talk and relate to sleep that impacts the quality of sleep, so we explore habits from childhood and stressors in life that create a disconnect from optimised sleep,” she said.
The Reef House Adults Retreat Director Malcolm Bean said educational Sleep Easy sessions, guided meditation, and journaling classes would be held throughout the week for guests as part of the 28 Complimentary Signature Inclusions. The initiatives would add to the Sleep Easy program which included a Sleep Support Guide and an online selection of blogs, videos and music that guests can take home.
