Singapore Airlines Elevates First Class Experience with Exclusive Cristal 2015 Champagne Amid Increased New Zealand Schedule
- November 19, 2024
Singapore Airlines (SIA) is set to become the world’s exclusive carrier to offer the prestigious Cristal 2015 champagne, thanks to a unique agreement with renowned French champagne house Louis Roederer.
Starting December 1, 2024, this premium offering will be available in SIA’s Airbus A380 Suites and Boeing 777-300ER First Class cabins. Initially featured on routes between Singapore and destinations such as Delhi, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Paris, Shanghai, Sydney, and Tokyo, Cristal 2015 will rotate to other Suites and First Class routes every three months.
Cristal 2015, crafted by cellar master Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, blends 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir from Louis Roederer’s distinguished Grands Crus vineyards. It exemplifies exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship, from sustainable vineyard practices to artful blending and extended cellar ageing. This premium champagne is celebrated for its depth and elegance, offering a memorable taste experience even at cruising altitude.
The Airline’s panel of wine consultants, including Jeannie Cho Lee, the first Asian Master of Wine, carefully selected Cristal 2015 for its complexity, depth, and refined flavour profile, ensuring that it complements the in-flight culinary experience.
This move comes as Singapore Airlines enhances its offering for Kiwi travellers with a bolstered flight schedule from New Zealand. The carrier recently announced increased services between Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch to Singapore, providing more connectivity options for both leisure and business travellers. The expanded schedule highlights SIA’s commitment to the New Zealand market and aligns with their focus on delivering a world-class travel experience, including unparalleled luxury in its premium cabins. This move comes as Singapore Airlines enhances its offering for Kiwi travellers with a bolstered flight schedule from New Zealand.
