Qatar Airways and IHG link corporate loyalty programmes for business travellers

Qatar Airways has entered a new partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts, aligning their corporate travel programmes to deliver integrated rewards for business clients.
Beyond Business by Qatar Airways and IHG Business Edge will now offer mutual point earning and redemption across IHG’s portfolio of more than 6,800 hotels and Qatar Airways’ network, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises as well as larger corporates.
Beyond Business members already benefit from Qrewards earning and redemption, Privilege Club tier offers, priority baggage and the ability to offset carbon emissions on past and future flights through Qatar Airways’ voluntary carbon offset programme. The scheme also provides tailored solutions based on total corporate travel spend to help businesses maximise their travel budgets.
Under the new collaboration, corporates enrolling in IHG Business Edge at no cost receive an instant upgrade to IHG One Rewards Gold Elite status after their first qualifying stay, guaranteed discounts at participating IHG properties worldwide and 40% more points on every eligible stay. IHG Business Edge, launched in 2018, is designed for SMEs seeking streamlined booking, dedicated rates and simple programme management.
The partnership also runs in the other direction: IHG Business Edge members who join Beyond Business will receive 50,000 bonus Qrewards on their first flight with Qatar Airways, which can be redeemed for flights, upgrades and other rewards.
