JW Marriott Auckland unveils 24/7 Executive Lounge for premium business travellers

JW Marriott Auckland has opened its new Executive Lounge, a 24-hour retreat designed to give business and premium leisure travellers a quiet, elevated space in the heart of the CBD.
Positioned as an intimate “home away from home” for corporate guests, the Executive Lounge offers a blend of workspace, hospitality and wellness-led touches, aimed at those needing both productivity and respite between meetings and flights. Open around the clock, the lounge provides a calm environment for focused work with seamless food and beverage service. During the day, guests can access freshly brewed coffee, fine teas and light refreshments, while using the lounge as an informal meeting space or a quiet corner to work.

From 5:00pm to 8:00pm daily, the space transitions into an evening social hub with happy hour service, including free-flowing beverages and artisanal canapés inspired by local flavours. The beverage programme highlights New Zealand wines, reflecting the country’s viticultural strengths, and the culinary offer leans into artisanal craftsmanship, provenance and wellness-focused dining.

Anchoring the lounge is a central fireplace that reinforces the brand’s “home away from home” positioning and creates a residential, club-style atmosphere. Design-wise, the space incorporates wooden and wood-inspired finishes crafted from locally sourced timbers, aligning with JW Marriott’s commitment to sustainability and a connection to nature. Fresh herbs and produce from the hotel’s JW Garden influence the lounge’s menus, bringing a garden-to-table element that reinforces the brand’s focus on mindful living and environmental stewardship.

Each week, the Executive Lounge will host a curated calendar of activities aligned with JW’s philosophy of “nourishing the soul”, including bespoke tastings, local artisan showcases and wellness-inspired sessions that spotlight New Zealand culture and local makers.

Executive Lounge access is complimentary for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador members and is available to non-eligible guests for NZ$120 per person, with access valid 24 hours a day.
