Flagship Suites by American Airlines is coming to New Zealand

New Flagship Suites featuring privacy doors will included on Boeing 787-9 aircraft servicing New Zealand
American Airlines has introduced new Flagship Suites, a private premium experience featuring privacy doors in business class.
Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A321XLR aircraft deliveries in 2024 will feature the new product and will be on aircraft flying to New Zealand.
The suite offers a chaise lounge seating option and more personal storage space offering a private retreat style offering in-flight.
American Boeing 787-9 aircraft will have 51 of the Flagship Suites and the Airbus will feature 20.
American Airlines’ Flagship Suite is a part of their ‘Flagship experience’ where American Airlines say that they have created a styling from ground to air for it’s premium guests where they can enjoy the signature experience from the moment they check-in till the time they land. Flagship Suite offers greater privacy as it’s is angled away from the aisle with a sliding partition between the paired seats.
American Airlines has also re-designed and retrofitted the Admiral Club lounges with the first of these refreshed lounges opening at Washington. The lounges include branded elements with sustainable wood designs will be carried on from the lounges across to the aircrafts on-board to have a cohesive look and feel while delivering the singular best experience.
On-board the aircraft the look and feel will be much the same with an illuminated American Airlines flight symbol.
Members of American’s award-winning AAdvantage® loyalty program can use miles for award tickets to experience American’s new Flagship Suite® seats when it debuts in 2024.
